I am working on script to perform the following operations:

I am entering the IP address 87.85.84.0/24 which splits into Network addresses like:

87.85.84.0/25
87.85.84.128/26
87.85.84.192/27
87.85.84.224/28
87.85.84.240/29
87.85.84.248/30
87.85.84.252/31
87.85.84.254/32
87.85.84.255/32

To perform Bitwise AND operation between IP and Broadcast address is not suitable in this case.

Any suggestions how to perform this chopping operation?

I should be able to help you as this kind of deal is my strength, but I really dont understand why your script is doing, so I can't answer your question.  Please try to provide some more information on what this script is accomplishing.
