Post Touch();function
Ive been searching the web for a way to use the touch(); function to creat a folder rather than a file. Im sure that its either something very small or its not possible at all but if anyone knows id appreciate it. Ive scoured the internet read manuals, books, and forums.

Have you looked at the php manual on php.net to get an idea of how to use all functions?

Yes ive read that as well as the section on the touch function. I can get it to creat a file but my goal is to have it create a folder. It doesnt mention anything about that in the manual.

Touch isn't used to create file or folders, it sets the last-modified time to the current time. If you meant to change the last modified time of a folder, then I'm afraid there is no such thing (of course I could be wrong). If you meant that you do want to create a fodler, then use mkdir()

mkdir() was what i was looking for thanks.

if touch(); isnt used to create files (although it does create them effectively) is there another function that does it better?

It will create a file if you use fopen(),fclose() if it doesn't exist
