Is there any tutorials or concepts for tracking the user's time spent on a product in an e-commerce website? how can we track this through javascript?

I am just explaining that suppose if we put Google analytics javascript code to any site that will track the Geo data, page views and frequency of visits. Like that if we put any javascript code in the ecommerce application i need to get the users and users time spent on products.

How can i achive that scenario?

If anybody does this kind of task in past please kindly let me know.
